Street name for Ketamine , an LSD-like date-rape drug that can produce amnesia and blackouts. Because its only legitimate use is as a veterinary tranquilizer, possession of Ketamine is illegal in the United States. It is available on the street in either powder, pill, or liquid, and can be snorted, swallowed, or injected directly into the muscle. It is also known on the streets as: Cat / K / Ketaset / Special-K / Vetalar / Vitamin-K .
