Seven Dirty Words, The:
Title of a famous comedy routine delivered by George Carlin at WBAI-FM in NYC in 1973. Also known as: - George-Carlin's-Seven-Dirty-Words - Seven Words You Can Never Say On Television - The Seven-No-No's - The Infamous-Seven-Words - Seven-Deadly-Words . These seven words are: shit, piss, fuck, cunt, cocksucker, motherfucker, tits. Following a single complaint, the FCC (Federal Communications Commission) banned further use of these words on broadcast media; their decision was upheld, five to four, by the Supreme Court of the United States in 1978.
