foken / fokken:
Middle Dutch etymological root of the word fuck; it means to breed (cattle).
QUOTE: 'The word [fuck] may in fact date back to the sixth century when the Saxons, ancient Germanic peoples, conquered and settled in parts of England. (...) The Saxons may have said "fuck" as foken, which was an Old English word meaning "to beat against" - an allusion to the male body beating against the female's during intercourse. But foken also meant to beat anything violently.' Charles Panati. Sexy Origins and Intimate Things (1998).
